What can I say about the circus? Lion, tigers, elephants, clowns, all the prerequisites for a good circus but "Excuse me, when did it get to be just a commercial for the crap they peddle in the aisles?" I just couldn't believe it they actually darkened the colleseum to show the mass of different light toys they were offering for $12 - $15 a pop. Its bad enough that tickets to an event like that can put a serious dent in the entertainment budget. Once you add in some drinks and snacks (for the grownups, we packed better quality for the little ones), a ride or two on the elephants, or a trip down the slides to look for a toy that is low quality but with that price tag seems a bit much. Needless to say we went home without one but we did get a ride on the elephant.
